5th Anniversary Halloween Party & Puzzle Hunt

Let's play one more game. Or Two.

Our fifth and final Halloween Party at our Hillcrest home will be an all-day affair. Throughout the day we will have a puzzle-hunt all over San Diego, and open-house and free-play of our games. Open play of our games will happen throughout the day, and the party at large will be 7 to 11. Treats will be available, for those that can find them.

This event will be a fundraiser to gather enough resources so we can open a new facility as soon as possible!

There are two parts to our party extravaganza, of which you may attend one or both:

Citywide Puzzle Hunt: The Malthus Crystal

Citywide Puzzle Hunt: A smartphone-enabled game that takes you all over San Diego! Grab a bike or get walking: This puzzle event will see players in teams of 1 to 10 (2-4 is still best) walk all over Hillcrest in search of the Malthus Crystal. We have partnered with ClueKeeper to bring you an ARG that is 100% Puzzalarium Puzzles and tons of fun. You can start this game anytime from 11AM to 9PM on the 19th by walking into our front desk at Puzzalarium. Tickets for this game may be bought on-site.

And a Puzzlalarium first! This is our very first game that is Family Friendly! I know, right? Don't worry though: the puzzles are plenty tough enough for adults.

• Smartphone Required. Only 1 is required per group, though you can have multiple.
• Good Walking shoes required
• Scooter or bike strongly recommended
• No reservations required. Just visit our desk sometime between 11AM and 9PM.

Admission to this puzzle hunt also includes The Floor is Lava & Board Game Free-play until 6:30PM!

Puzzalarium Halloween Party

Our wonderful Halloween Party is going to be from 7PM to 11PM and will be tremendous, including:

Tickets are limited due to the size of the space! Get them while you can!

Agenda

• 11:00AM: Doors open for The Malthus Crystal Puzzle Hunt. Come for a puzzle-filled 1-2 hour game that will take you all over San Diego in search of that damn crystal that you swear we would have found by this point!
• 11:01AM-7:00PM: Groups come whenever they want to start the Puzzle Hunt. Open Floor is Lava games and Board Game Play will be available to folks as they see fit. Our game Bajillions! will be available for play. Somebody might order food.
• 7:00PM: Halloween Party begins.
• 7:10PM: Unexpected Mystery Announced.
• 7:11PM-9:00PM: Puzzles & Treats
• 9:00PM: Costume Contest & LAST START TIME for the Citywide Hunt
• 9:30PM: Evil twists on classic Halloween Games and Deranged Trivia
• 10:30PM: Prizes & Swag, answers to Puzzles, Q&A with Director.
• 11:00PM: Most people go home. Those that stay will get cushions out of the back office, order pizza, and watch Studio Ghibli films until people pass out or go home.
